About this Opportunity!

Volunteer, Senior Tax Rebate Program
Centennial | Littleton | Lone Tree

If you are a homeowner in the district who is 60 years old, or older, or if you are an adult with a physician-verified disability, you may receive $12.00 per hour to be used for paying a portion of your property taxes for completing one or more special Tax Rebate Program position(s). The tasks vary depending on the facility the tasks are being performed. Only one person per household is allowed to participate and the applicant must occupy the property for which the taxes are being paid. Hours accumulated will be reimbursed in the year the taxes were paid. Upon completion of hours, a check is made out to the Arapahoe or Douglas County Treasurer and sent to the taxpayer to remit to the county for taxes paid to South Suburban Park and Recreation District. All work must be completed by December of the year it is started.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Must be over the age of sixty (60) years of age, or older, or be an adult with a physician-verified disability.
• Must own and occupy property within the district.

The job description above covers the main duties of this position. Please note, as a team member, there may be additional responsibilities that are required to meet ongoing needs of the department.
