Cashier Receptionist Part-Time
Centennial - South Suburban Ice Arena
$12.00 - $14.52 per hour
The Cashier Receptionist is responsible for providing superior
customer service by greeting customers as they enter the facility,
answering incoming calls, and performing general office duties such as
program registration, cashiering, typing, and filing. This position
also assists the Reception Supervisor with providing leadership and
guidance to additional Cashier and Ice Monitor staff.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of effective customer service practices, cash handling
procedures, principles and procedures of basic record keeping, and
proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to provide outstanding customer service and get along with
coworkers, patrons, parents, and supervisors.
- Ability to operate multi-line telephone system, photocopy and
other general office equipment.
Education: Must be 18 years of age or older with a
high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: Must have at least two (2) years of
customer service and cash handling experience. Experience working in a
lead position providing guidance to others is preferred.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Certifications: CPR/AED Certified or ability to obtain
within 30 days of employment.
Driving Requirements: May drive a personal vehicle to additional
District facilities for meetings and as needed.
Work Hours: This is a variable hour position. Please
note, weekly work hours will vary and may require early mornings,
days, evening, weekends and/or holiday hours.
