Learn To Skate Instructor Part-Time
Centennial | Littleton | Lone Tree
$17.29 – $24.20 per hour
Do you have a passion for ice skating? If you answered YES, then this
is the opportunity for you! The Learn to Skate Instructor is
responsible for teaching private ice skating lessons and Learn to
Skate classes. This position is responsible for teaching students at
the level of their ability as defined by the Professional Skaters
Association (PSA) standards, teaching moves in the field, freestyle,
dance and pairs using the guidelines of the PSA, USFS and/or the ISI,
and passing students who are qualified to perform the required skills.
Our Ideal Candidate
• Will have knowledge of the equipment, facilities, operations
and techniques used to teach ice skating lessons.
• Must have the
ability to communicate, both written and oral, positively and
effectively with patrons and class participates.
• Will provide a
safe class environment for all students.
• Has the ability work
with employees and the public and exercise responsible judgment as
forth in the by-laws of the PSA
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age with a high school
diploma or equivalent.
• Experience providing ice skate
instruction is required.
• Must have a current membership in the
PSA and the USFS and/or the ISI.
• Must have passed the USFS 2nd
and/or Juvenile Freestyle tests; or the equivalent ISU test, or the
ISI Figure 3 and/or Freestyle 5 or USFS Bronze Dance test or Juvenile
• Must successfully obtain a PSA rating in their
respective field aft two (2) years.
